Class "Pet" Adventures

So a year ago i did a "Lizzy the Lizard" project. I sent a bean bag lizard home with a student and the student came back and drew or took a picture on what Lizzy did. I also sent Lizzy across the world to Iraq for a visit. I am thinking about doing this project again...What do you think? Of course i would do a different animal.

Keeping it Clean

I went to the New Teacher Institute back in August 2010. This was an idea i enjoyed. You place items on this fake ground and the children go through and pick up the items and then sorts them. The items can be recycled items, colors, numbers, etc. You can also put trash and items and then sort which ones should be placed in the trash and items to be recycled.
